Yay. 2 regulation wins in their last 20 games instead of only 1!

On the upside - 8 points in their last 5 games is a bit of an improvement as they go 3-0-2.

Yeah. The points are nice, but, it bothers me that the only teams they didn't look pretty bad against at both in the bottom 6.

Welcome back Tyler Bozak. Three points as I predicted. 55% on the draw. And Clarkson look very good

Yep, and if Bolland can pick up where he left off before his injury (after the Olympic break), this team could rediscover that winning touch they had early on in the season.

Great to see Bozak clicking with Kessel right away.  Here's hoping the Leafs can keep rolling through the winter classic and beyond now that our centre position isn't so depleted.

Glad they got the win. :)

Yes, 3-0-2 in the last five is pretty good compared to where they have been lately. Hopefully they can keep putting points in the bank for later on.

I already don't like the new points system, however. I figure if the wild card teams have more points than the idiots in the Metropolitan Division, they should get a higher seed, but what do I know.

Tyler freaking Bozak. He does the little things right, he wins faceoffs, plays a decent defensive game but, I mean, wow, the guy is completely unable to move the puck without immediately dishing it to Kessel. He made about 3 or 4 awful passes like that this game. But none of them bite the team in the butt and his minor interactions with the puck net him 3 assists. I guess he just works in that role for some crazy reason.
