I think Nylander is worried about being traded.
Must have been worried for the last 2 months

Given the stark contrast in play pre/post COVID have to think he?s dealing with long Covid symptoms.  Not a great thing if it is just general deconditioning

He just seems scared to make mistakes sometimes.  Then he makes a mistake.  I guess there isn't much they can do if it's long haul.  Gotta hope he can get back to where he was.

I?m just not quite sure what to make if this game. It could be good or it could be a terrible performance.

They can?t all be Rembrandts.

This has been an enjoyable game.  Good effort from both teams.  Nothing stupid and dirty.  Lots of good defensive plays without teams just playing trap style defense

It's too bad our 3rd line sucks though as someone suggested in another thread.

I don't how anyone could find something to complain about our 3rd line. Such a great line. Any way the Leafs can bring back Mickey? It will suck to lose him.

Man if Clifford actually got that in that would have been nuts.
This is the most noticeable I've seen him for the Leafs these past 2 games. He doesn't want to come out of the line up. Being a  healthy scratch should light a fire under Simmonds...it did last time.
