Worried with good reason. 88 and 11 are arguably our 2 worst forwards in the D zone. 91 is going to be extra busy.8-1-1 in their last 10 is the best record over the last 10 in the NHL. Nice time to flirt with getting hot.
They have looked very good in several of those 10 games.
Magic number of 1 with Tampa to clinch 1st in the division and 2nd in the conference
Big road win over the Canes done with bottom pairing of Mermis-Myers
To me, Domi was where he belongs: on a wing - very glad to see them trying this. I'm a little concerned about that Domi-Tavares-Nylander line defensively.
Yeah. PPs run hot and cold. It's dipped a little lately, but there's been enough success that it has the potential to get going again quickly. The PK is definitely a concern. It's been struggling for a while and is only middle of the pack overall.Last few games, yup. Overall it's been good. 6th in the league. The PK is a bigger concern. You can live with a lousy PP but you can't with a bad PK.
Considering the golf discussion on the masters that infiltrated this thread during the game, this story amused me

Johnston: What the Maple Leafs can learn from Rory McIlroy’s Masters breakthrough

The jokes about the Leafs learning lessons from golfing write themselves.
Bet the Leafs could have taught Rory a thing or two about golf.
