The Jays are really struggling so far at the plate.  I don't like the approach a lot of guys are taking early on.  Lots of overly aggressive swings and the offense looks like it has gone back to the home run or bust approach at the plate.

Do we think it's a youth thing?
Also, was it mandatory that Grichak had to cut his hair and trim the facial hair to look exactly like Kevin Pilar? Does he think that was the secret??

So I caught the game at the second inning mark, and I actually thought I might have seen Kevin Pilar...I was like "did I miss that trade?"

I'm still more concerned about the pitching than the hitting...Stripling didn't fill me with confidence.

But they're super screwed if they can't get their bats going...I was thinking that they're somewhat like last year's Leafs - they'd just try to outscore their way out of their defensive shortcomings.
