Unreal. Play was with his own player and didn't seem that bad on the replay
Neither did when Gilmour had his career ended.
1st game back as a Leaf...  >:(

I remember I was excited for that return but I got home late and missed the beginning of the game. I turned it on and I was like "Where's Dougie?!"

Well 6 months is still technically "at least" 8 weeks.

Definitely cuts down potential trade options for the deadline but also possibly during the summer

Why is it taking so long for guys to go under the knife if it is necessary,  hell Bradley with TFC will miss a sizeable part of the season because he just had his surgery when it could have been done in November.

Johnsson should have been on the table long before this. I guess it doesn't matter at this point as he won't be ready for the playoffs. Or Golf tournaments depending on how Campbell plays in the next 20 games.

Maybe the surgeon of choice is booked? I would think surgery is the last option unless deemed the only alternative. Look at McDavid.

Here is the latest, they were considering just removing the Meniscus which would have had him back in 6-8 weeks, but they decided to repair the wound saving the Meniscus which is much better for the player involved. However the down time on the repair is 6 months.  Dubas said they will do what is best for the player,  always.  Good for them. Good for Mango.  Now say your prayers.

Also worth noting that often they can't even begin to start investigating what's required long-term until after the initial swelling has gone down which can easily take a week or two.
