Kerry Fraser's Most Regrettable Moment in His Career

Hmmmmmmm, I wonder what that could be?

It was missed. Period.

It was agony for Leafs fans.  I understand the passion, the emotion and the frustration that Leafs fans have endured. They felt it was their time. When people come up to me and ask about it now, I just try to have a conversation with them. If I had one opportunity to turn back the hands of time for a ?do over? it would be to catch that high-stick. I?m sure I?m not alone in that department.

Why must you open old wounds?  :-\

It will make the sun shine that much brighter in the years to come. ;)

Not for me it won't!  The Montreal Canadians were gifted that Stanley Cup because of his inability to interpret appropriately what had happened to Gilmour!  The fact that the only player near Gilmour was Gretzky.  It was obvious what had taken place.  He had not seen the actual high stick, but, the other evidence made it quite clear IMHO.

Even Gretzky admitted to doing what he did when he just quietly skated away.  If he were innocent, his normal MO was to plead his case to the referee immediately!

I know nothing will ever change the events that occurred after that, however, I'll be bitter about it till the day I die!    >:(

If Kerry Fraser ever steps off the curb in front of my car, I won't hit him, but, I'll certainly try to run over his toes!  ;D

Oh bah!  Fraser can plead his case all he wants, but we Leaf fans will never forget. Nor forgive.  Well, maybe we can forgive, but definitely not forget!!  >:(

Some people called it destiny, others called it bad luck.  Call it what you will, but it is, was, and will always be what it was...a missed call!  :(

So he finally admitted to fluffing the call. Only 23 years too late. Still, the Leafs dug themselves into a hole in that series & Felix wasn't as sharp as he'd been. I wonder if Toronto would have been Montreal in the finals...

I'm largely over the non-call but I don't buy for a second that wasn't what it was. I think he saw it and let it go. It was a bad decision on his part, I've moved on.

Very much so; if it'd been anyone other than Gretzky, he'd have called the penalty I'm sure though.

No doubt.

Without question. Dougie and Wendel would have dragged everyone else along.

It would take a bigger man than I think I could claim to be to toss the greatest player in the world out of the game, in LA, in overtime, with his team on the verge of elimination, to give the Leafs a 5 minute power play.

The only reason he's recycling this crap is because he wants the attention. Go away Kerry, YES we will always hate you. TSN would be smart to rid themselves of him, his insight sucks.

Maybe, but the showing from Roy that year was pretty phenomenal for the Habs.
