Game Notes
SEA
-Joey Daccord (18-13-3, 2.49 GAA, .916 Sv%) will likely start for the Kraken
-It's another disappointing season for Seattle. They're currently 28th in the league. They'll likely be missing the playoffs for the 3rd time in the franchises 4 year existence
-One player who isn't letting Seattle's struggles bother him is Kaapo Kakko. The Finnish forward has 17 points in 22 games since being acquired from the Rangers in December
TOR
-Joseph Woll (19-10-0, 2.67 GAA, .909 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-The Leafs earned a day off on Wednesday after their 6-3 win over the Flames. 2 players that did take the ice were Marner and Stolarz. Berube said that it's possible for both players to get back into line-up against Seattle. It would be Stolarz's first start in 8 weeks

I would start Murray in this game.

If Stolarz is genuinely 100%, and I'd have to imagine he is if he gets the start, then I don't see the harm in him playing as opposed to making him wait another 2+ weeks to play. If he isn't cleared then yeah I'd give Murray a start here.

Or Willy can watch Mitch skate through 4 guys directly to the front of the net and score from there,

Marner is an incredibly durable player but some of his injuries have been rather hilarious circumstances.

Marner missed his first game this season in Calgary on Tuesday night with what he called a “spasm thing” that popped up suddenly earlier in the week.

“Something locked up on me for a day and a half,” Marner said on Thursday morning.

Marner added that the injury was unrelated to the last game he played in Edmonton and might have come from a day spent at a Nordic spa in Calgary.

“People think that going in the tubs or something” might have been the cause, he said. “I’m not really sure how it really happened. It was just bizarre.”

Oooh. He must have gone to Kananaskis. Went there a few years ago. Totally worth it.

Yeah I was there a few years ago too, great place. Actually was visiting friends in that area a few months ago and walked past Sheldon Keefe at a coffee shop in Banff. The Devils were playing Calgary and Edmonton. I imagine it's pretty standard for NHLers to check those places out on those trips.
