That's over the past 10 games. Over the last 15, they're 5-7-3. Also, last season, a .500 record was good enough for the 8th overall pick. Same with the season before. A long stretch earning half the points available in today's NHL is bad. I mean, there are currently only 6 teams in the league who are below .500 in their last 10 - 5 of which are in the bottom 10 in the league. It's not something minor to worry over. These days, it's a pretty significant slump.

St. Louis and Chicago are both damn tough to beat. St. Louis has one of the best home records in the league.
