Leafs 2019/2020 Schedule in 10 game chunks

Man, best we can hope for is 5-5 in this chunk now.  Next chunk starts with a road trip:

Having a sub .500 chunk of 10 in the season is not good.  I don't think they've had one since the first year with Matthews/Marner.  If the threshold to make the playoffs is 96 points, then that's 7 games over .500.  They're currently even, so would have to make up 7 in the remaining 52 games.  Not impossible, but not easy either.

Better looking schedule this week, no back to backs, and we get Calgary on a 3 games in 4 nights.

It is another road trip out west however.  And the we get another 3 games in 4 nights the following weekend.  This schedule is really garbage

Hey I said THIS WEEK :)

Keefe did say that Hutch would probably get one of those starts since Andersen got that B2B. Calgary's 4th last in goals per game right now so that seems like the safe bet.

That would be the game I'd choose as well considering Calgary will be a tired team too. Hopefully Leafs can outperform them that night and keep the scoring chances on Hutchinson way down.

It's also a game where you have to put the final nail in the "find another goaltender under any circumstances" coffin if he lets in another 4+ goals.  A struggling team that can't score playing its 3rd game in 4 nights while also having issues keeping the puck out of their own net.

I don't get the Hutch thing as Kaskisuo's record with the Marlies is sterling and even better than last call up.  Give him another chance if Hutch can't make it happen against Calgary.

Hell I wouldn't have called up a Hutchinson when Keefe came in for that first game against the Sabres. I thought Kaskisuo should have gotten a second chance. Oh well.

Kaskisuo needs experience which would necessitate him playing more in the NHL.  But then, sn?t that what we said of Sparks?

The only way to find out if Kaskisuo is the real deal is for the Leafs to put him back.
Obviously, Keefe wants to give Hutch some second chances before the Leafs figure out what to do with their backup netminding choices (even via trade).

Canucks fans are whiny little babies, so it's nice to wake up to find out Leafs won.
They were going on about how they were the better team going into the third and should be winning and how their rebuild has caught up to ours. Get into the playoffs first you tools.
