I think that was just lip service, nothing more or less. They all seem to say I'm looking forward to the opportunity. Gogolev obviously liked his time with the Leafs organization and wants to continue it. Maybe this was all part of the deal between the 2 Kyles? Oh well, glad to have him back. Hopefully he can take his game to the next level and be a full time Marlie next season.

I looked at some video. He has a decent shot and offensive instincts. But his skating looks way too slow. His skating could have killed the deal when they saw him up close. If the Marlies need a PP specialist, he could help them. Beyond that, I'm not sure. Seems like a nice guy. Hope it works out for him.
