Alright Walking Dead time.

Actually, I think better call saul starts up tonight.

Yep. TWD was last night. Started off Holy S**t and then went to Bull S**t last 15 minutes. However "plausible"  :o
that show tries to be, it utterly failed last night at the end.

Who watches shows as they air?

Man, you watch this team on nights like tonight and the idea that they are going to be any good anytime soon -- even if Marner and Nylander pan out right away -- looks like pure fantasy.

LMAO. That's a 2016 comment....!  I'm out West so we pvr the show at Eastern time and then watch sometime that night if we've been waiting for it. And yes despite my comments we wait impatiently for TWD.

Insert "delusion."

As bad as the Leafs are, I'm not used to them getting smoked like this.

Edit: And they score again.

I stopped watching after Hawks went up 1-0, only because I got the call from the wife.  ;)

Wow, it turned ugly. Some supposed Leaf fans got their wish.  :-[

At least we weren't shutout!  ;)

Yup. The Hawks represent the level the Leafs need to get to, and, yes, the Leafs were missing some important pieces, but, even with them, they would have been a long way away.

I stopped watching after 3-0, but on the bright side at least we were only outscored 3-1 at even strength. The team just hasn't had any answer to Chicago's powerplay, particularly Kane of course, in both games against them this season.

I watched the whole thing.  Not much to say really - the Leafs lineup wasn't good with everyone healthy/no trades made, it's even worse now, and Chicago's PP shredded them.

It was a game that was probably inevitable.  But the Leafs did make several mental mistakes, as well, which certainly sealed their fate.

Possibly the reason Reimer didn't get pulled was to see how he would do over 60 minutes against a high-scoring team like Chicago.  And we are now seeing his numbers revert back to approaching what they were like over the past year or so.  The Toronto management group will probably wait and see what kind of a market there is out there for goaltenders before they get too excited about signing James for a big increase in money, and in term.
