There's some decent players on the Columbus side and has been over the years. Is it some kind of hockey graveyard though? Like, would you go there if you had any other options?

For years that organization was run into the ground by people like Doug MacLean, but they're on the upswing now.

They've got some pretty good hockey minds running the team.

Gaborik and Bobrovsky are probably good pick ups. Early days tonight but it looks like they've a couple of good youngsters in the line up too.

Good to see them on an upswing if that's the case.

I like the cannon.

I like that the next shift for Clarkson's line after his penalty Carlyle put Orr out with Bolland and McClement and they were hemmed in the Leafs zone all shift.

Orr's like Caryle's secret weapon. His terrible, terrible secret weapon.

Maybe this is not the same for others, but with as many skilled players as the Blackhawks have, you kind of didn't notice Bolland for his skill when he played for them. He's a very talented player, he's surprised me with his skill so far. Maybe my expectations were too low.

This period has just been disarray.

Seems like the plan is to weather the storm and wait for the momentum to shift.

Kessel TOI: 2:30

Orr TOI: 1:15

EDIT:  Oh wait, it gets better:

Kessel: 2:49

Orr: 2:32

Orr and McLaren just had a 1:20 shift. Cause, you know, they're awful.

Just you wait, when Kessel and Kadri finally get ice time, those nasty CLB bruisers won't dare take a run at either of them!

This is the first time I've ever watch CBJ.  People are right, with Davidson & Karkelainen running the ship they're a team that you underestimate at your peril.  Those guys know what's what with what.
