Frattin continues to look like an AHL player

Pretty much no way he would get claimed off waivers. Send him down and see if playing there would help him out.

I know D'Amigo didn't make Columbus' roster, but the Leafs giving up D'Amigo and a late draft pick for him just looks like a horrible move.  In D'Amigo you had a guy who did a decent job of playing defensive and physical hockey.  In Frattin you have a guy who doesn't use his size, for a speedy winger gets beat a lot around the ice and looks disinterested.

But, he played well for a few weeks 2 seasons ago! Clearly, he has so much potential! ;D

I liked D'Amigo, but it's pretty telling (and surprising) that he's still not in Columbus' line-up considering all the injuries that they have. I figured he'd be a lock to make their 4th line before training camp. Looks like a trade both teams would be better off forgetting about.

The Leafs have played a nice road game.  They are holding back and protecting the lead but aren't giving up the neutral zone like they did the last two years.

Yeah, though, the fact that the only shot they have this period is the Kadri goal isn't exactly great. Against a better team, they'd be in rough shape.

Winnik with a goal and 2 assists in Game #500
