Leafs @ Bruins - Nov. 10th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Pastrnak is very quiet when he moves around the zone. Just sneaks into open space and bangs pucks home.

That?s why I disagree with Babcocks back to back games always starts Andersen first regarding opposition or location of game. Look at who you?re playing and if home away and then decide. Not that it would have mattered cuz we haven?t scored but probably wouldn?t be 3-0.

Basically Babcock threw the white flag by starting the backup today.  You have to coach with the intent to win.  Not set your schedule in July and say you have nothing left to do.

They needed to pot one back at the beginning of the game when they had legs.  20 SOG in P1 and 0 on the board was all she wrote.

Babcock is a lazy coach.  He makes sure he has to do the least thinking possible.  He is a limiting factor.

Right, but I don't get why you can't assign a guy to Pastrnak.

Haha you do assign someone, but he?s still going to slip the check every so often. We held him in check for most of the first and on that particular incursion into the zone. And then once the cycle got going, heads start turning and decisions need to be made and mistakes start to happen.

The Leafs keep dumping the puck in and Boston turns around and takes the puck.  We aren?t a good forechecking team against teams like Boston.  Babcock needs to find a new strategy for these games.

If you've read anything about Babcock you probably wouldn't be saying that, honestly.

Tavares and Marner haven't got much going.

Thanks Carlo.
Well they need to do it 5 vs5 because they haven't done much. Would like to see Babs use Kappy instead of Hyamn on that line. Sorry he may be an "elite" checker but he's useless offensively.

As for Babs playing Sparks tonight. There's absolutely no reason to change the plan to protect him. He either sinks or swims. If he isn't good enough to be the backup he needs to go. Judging him by his rebound control alone, he's not good enough.
