Another game where Simmonds is not doing anything

I like Matthews, Marner and Gally, Tavares, Hyman and Soup, I like Robertson...not sure what Engvall did...I like Spezza and Kerfoot but Simmonds and Thornton...arghh

Man, I don't know if I am biased but it really looks like Thornton is useless out there and even making bad plays.  I never expected that so I might be missing something.  Robertson looks like he is flying when he gets the chance.
It?s unfortunate.  When not on the top line Thornton has done nothing.

I don't know what everyone expected. He's slower than molasses was on the 2nd PP unit in SJ not sure what line definitely not 1st and here with more talent he gets 1st line minutes and 1st PP minutes. Keefe needs to get his head out of his A** quit playing favourites or loyalty because of Thornton's reputation and history and do what's best for the team.

Truth be told, Jumbo should be the one given the rest of the night off.  Of course, he hasn't been alone in tossing up juicy giveaways.

Yeah, watching him other years I watched him play fiesty, set up goals which creative passing and even fight Kadri.

I really have seen nothing of it so I expect when Nylander and Foligno return Thornton will be scratched

I?m really done with Rielly on the PP
The PP is really not a good match for his skill set. He's best when he's skating with the puck, joining the attack as a 4th forward. On the PP he basically stands around and makes the simplest/shortest pass (no imagination), doesn't really have a good enough shot to be a threat. May as well go with 5 forwards at this point.

Another shift with Thornton on a line with Marner/Matthews late ina game we are trailing.  I?d have faith in that if Thornton had done something in the last 10 games
