Marner was just flying and actually gained a stride or two on Ovechkin and affected his deke without drawing a penalty.  That play saved a goal.
 
We've got 2-3 players with exceptional speed. I'd like to see players like Kapenen/Marner get the puck at speed in the neutral zone and try to get around the D flatfooted and cut into the crease. It sometimes looks like we overpass a bit and nullify that speed advantage.
 
Well, we said we wanted them to get playoff experience. This is about as real as that gets.
