Leafs @ Ducks - Mar. 10th, 10:00pm - LeafsTV, TSN 1050

Phaneuf and Gunnar were two bona fide pylons on that goal by the Ducks.  Carlyle would benefit from splitting them up.  In fact, the Ducks telecast just showed Perry making both defencemen look overmatched this game.

Considering the numbers he's put up this year I think it's safe to say Perry's made a lot of defensemen look bad this year.

The entire shift got owned by two of the league's best players. It happens.

Bernier with an entire year of glove saves all in one game.

It's surprising as Glenn Healy says the book on him is to go high.

Glenn's talking about the passage from Book III.  The Leafs are still playing the story from Book II.  Kind of like Game of Thrones.

You know, Ranger has been really good since coming back into the lineup.

Came in to post this. Beauty defensive plays and smart jumping into the rush tonight.  He definitely seems to be getting some confidence.

That was nowhere near as good a period as the 1st.  However, they came into the period up 2-0 and end the period with a 2-goal lead.  I'll take it.  Anaheim has a fair claim to being the best team in the league and for the most part this has just been a good competitive game.

I watched Weber get owned twice in the 3rd tonight vs Ottawa. So you're right, it happens and it happens to the leagues best too b

That was probably his biggest flaw earlier in the year.  He would jump into the play and suddenly he was behind the offensive net while the puck is heading back up the ice.

It must be the countdown clock during intermissions but the breaks feel twice as long on LeafsTV broadcasts vs. CBC, TSN, or Sportsnet.

A two-goal third period Leaf lead?  This is two points in the bag for sure!

Good thing Anaheim doesn't have one power forward who scores goals.

The second period was ok, i thought they missed a high stick of Kessel right before the goal. Still they played a good game so far

Wait....a team has more wins than the Leafs when getting outshot this year?

And seriously, Gleason, you suck.
