Another game, another goal against by Mangiapane. We should just trade for him.

Yeah, but only if CGY retains salary.  They need to eat some dough on that guy.

God I hate Lucic

Why you insert a guy like Sabourin in the lineup. Said it when the Flames were in Toronto Lucic can play however he wants because Leafs have no one to answer the bell.

Just a reminder that Mangiapane is hella sneaky and drifts out and back into the slot on the regular. He is very tough to mark.

Why have referees at all? They're just in the way.

If your team is game planning around Milan Lucic in any year after 2016 your problem isn?t Milan Lucic

It's a reminder that sometimes the other team has good players that make good plays.

The idea that Mila Lucic would be intimated by some AHL scrub who he would destroy in a fight anyway is truly amazing.

Not going to argue that but he Reilly has to be aware of what?s going on around him.

TSN's "I pray we have something to talk about on TradeCentre" shtick needs to be sent to the Media Cliche Retirement Home.

Every goal is some mix of defensive mistake(s) and good offensive play(s). As fans it?s very easy to one-side it, especially on goals against.

That being said, Rielly really has defensive issues. He has a forward?s brain but was assigned defense because he could control the attack better with more ice to see and more room to wind up his formidable speed. He is what he is and his attack skills open up lots of room for our highly paid forwards (and opposing forwards too :) )

I was going to add that in my post as I don?t know what he?s like but my point is sometimes you need that presence in the lineup to keep the other team honest and keep your stars from getting abused. No different in TO when Lucic crosschecked Matthews into the boards. Could have been a serious injury and no pushback.
