Good game in the end. Sloppiness in the beginning but they managed to pull it off. Hard to deny that offense.

On a side note it's kind of hilarious that our franchise record setting point pace is only good for (barely) 2nd in our division.

Yup. Atlantic is nuts this year. Two legit cup contenders in the East are going home in the first round.

In the East a 98 point Carolina team is going to play the Boston Bruins (91) in the first round in the 2 vs WC1 matchup.

In the West an 89 point Calgary team is going to play the Nashville Predators (82) in the first round in the 2 vs WV1 matchup.

Oh, I don't really want it either.  I think the unbalanced schedule does play a bit of a role there.

The Leafs are 25-10-2 against the Eastern Conference and 19-9-3 against the West.
Florida is 29-7-3 against the East and 18-8-3 against the West.

It's not necessarily a fair head to head.
