Leafs @ Flyers - Mar. 27th, 7:00pm - SNO, Fan 590

If this is how we perform during a regular season shootout this team is in trouble when we face the shootout in the playoffs

Between Babcock and Andersen the leafs have no shot of winning 2 games in the playoffs.  I?d bet $100 on that.

All of our high paid offence, and not one stinking shootout goal? At least make the goalie make a good save...we hardly challenged him

Freer said it: that was a Battle of the Pathetic Shootouters.

They?re, like, eleventy times more important in the playoffs!

That was the most pathetic shot out game in the history of shot outs.
WTH were they thinking. Awful
Well it was their 1st of the year so they maybe a li'l rusty. Starting with Ennis tho? I was expecting Hainsey next lol.

If that post had been a golf shot, you would have staked it out from 215 yards with a 2-iron.

👍 but Babcock is more the problem.
Andersen hasn?t been great but to be fair to him he?s never had a good structured defensive team since he arrived in Toronto.

One good thing about how poorly the Leafs have been playing is I have zero expectations for the playoffs. I was more hopeful last year when they played the Bruins. This year I know they could possibly win but I doubt it.

If the Leafs win game 1 we?ll all be sucked back in lol.

Get Dermott and Gardiner back, and who knows. That said, my expectations are pretty low based on the overall team
defensive coverage issues that have been present all year.

I'm sure people have said this or something similar but since his slow start Nylander's been basically playing at a 63 points/82gp pace

I'll one up you. I'll pay you $100 to stop posting.

You just proved my point.
No I didn't. I'm just tired of your shit honestly.

Pointing out facts?  I?m tired of the love affair for this team.  Everyone here has been watching the leafs for quite sometime.  But most aren?t willing to admit that this particular team has provided the least amount of quality hockey relative to their talent level.  This is far worse than Randy C.

$100 bets stands for anyone.  If they take it, then fine, I?ll stop pointing out the obvious.

I still don't understand why Leaf games have so few penalties. Just checked the Boston boxscore and they have 6 PPO. They get so many PPs.

Leafs better practice the PK because I think we will be seeing a lot of Bruin PPOs.

So if he played a full year with the new contract would you be happy with 63 points.

I sure wouldn't.
