Leafs @ Habs - Oct 24th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Brendan Gallagher has taken more goalie interference penalties than any other player since he entered the league.

Perhaps Price' success is in part due to not having to worry about that rat ringing his bell every night like the goalies they face.

Not one mention of him being a rat though, no sir.

It might be advisable to quit allowing Subban to drop bomb after bomb.

I'll never understand how guys like him, Ovechkin, and Stamkos are always open on the PP. I don't know if it was Randy's idea or not, but the best thing the Leafs ever did when he was here was put one man on Oveckin the entire powerplay and basically just play 4-on-3 instead. And despite being pretty successful that strategy didn't even last long.

I've not really had a chance to watch much of the Leafs yet this year, but despite the obvious lack of talent they actually look a lot better.

And with the Marlies looking dominant, a couple of years time could be very exciting... It might even be enough to forget the last 10 years or so.

Rielly is playing like he wants to be dominant, and believes he can be.

Yup, he needs to develop a dominant slapper or wrister and then he'll be really elite.

Listening to these clowns fellate Price yet again is so much fun.

Agreed.  I think his shot is basically sound, he just needs to amp it up a bit.

"Keep your glove up". Amazing goaltending advice from Don Cherry everyone.

And Cherry also said that Revere was at bat with the bases loaded which of course is wrong.

But with Cherry there is no reason why basic facts should ever undermine his point.

Isn't it time that he should just retire?

Oh man, Polak, so bad. Gives it up at the blueline, then completely ignores his guy to hack the guy who Rielly was covering.

Doug Armstrong: I'm telling you guys, I said oh Polak? Well we're going to need Gunnarsson in return and Nonis says okay. So I say, oh and we're going to need the 94th overall pick too and he says okay again. Trying not to laugh before I could hang up was the hardest thing I've ever done as GM.

... so I then I look at the trade sheet and it says that they're retaining salary too!

Thanks, God.  Thanks for giving the team that doesn't need lucky breaks a FREAKING LUCKY BREAK
