Leafs @ Hurricanes - Mar. 11th, 7:00pm - CBC

JVR having a great game. Forechecked hard on the Marner goal and sniped that one top corner working into the slot.

I don't think I've seen Matthews on the ice much in this game... although I'm switching between game and conversation.

How much better could he be if he didn't lallygag half the time?

They're really missing carrick a fair bit.
He was fourth on the depth chart before he got hurt, that's a decent blow to a defense corps that isn't this teams strong point.

Favourite dessert tonight is turnovers.

Heh, for sure.  Scrappy Scrambly game, I should say.

I don't know if they've mentioned it (watching on mute), but the way the puck is bouncing, I'd guess the ice is in bad shape.

Absolutely, if JVR had a consistent forecheck game it would be awesome. That first goal was JVR heavy on the body and Marner with the snipe. A deadly combination. And sometimes it's Marner with the steal and pass with JVR/Bozak with the snipe.

Our top three lines have 60+/50+/50+ goals respectively. I think we're going to see that kind of balanced attack for the next decade.
