The Islanders are a bit more miragey this year so far. Still keeping shot quality down. Getting some nice shoot percentage luck (especially during their streak obviously).

When was the last time we won 10 in a row?  Last century?

When was the last time a team that won 10 in a row also won the Cup?
i.e. does it really matter? Because the Sabres also won 10 in a row and missed the cut completely.

Where did you get the idea that I think it's some kind of necessity?  It's just a nice thing to have happen.

You (or someone else here, I don?t really check usernames) seem to bring up winning streaks a lot.

Leafs started out with a 10 game winning streak sometime in the last 10-15 years. It was after I got back to Canada in 2002.

93/94 the leafs started 10-0 then pretty much went .500 the rest of the way.

In 04 they had a 17 game unbeaten streak (included a shoot out loss)

Atmosphere at Barclay's/Nassau is excitingly hostile when the Leafs come to town. Hope the boos are nice and loud.

Hopefully they come out with some energy. Tired of their lazy starts and listening to the players and the Chooch behind the bench talking about it postgame.
First 10 minutes are going to be important and hopefully it doesn't fall on Andersen.

Johnsson with the hot potatoe, Nylander then decided to lose it as well as and Rielly not watching they guy in front = -1 for the Leafs.

This team is incapable of scoring the first goal.  One turnover and it leads to a tap in goal.

They refuse to accept any defensive responsibility.  Most fragile team in the NHL right now.  Also, Tyson Barrie can?t hit the net.

LOL...all that good work for nothing.

Every time.  They only skate hard in the offensive zone. If they turn it over they stop skating.  Defense just isn?t important to this team under Babcock.

One mistake is all it takes. All they have to do is not get careless. Like why are you no look back passing right at your blue line?
