Alright. They've had a days rest. They're time adjusted, and Bernier's in net. No excuses tonight boys.

Let's get a W!

dethrone the monarchs

It's time for a palace coup.  The question is, which disgruntled princeling will lead it?

Who cares about the Kings 8 game winning streak?!

Break out the guillotine!!

That's part of the reason I think Leafs will win, Kings will lose at some point.  Law of averages and all that.

It's pretty amazing that they put Orr in over him the other night, but if they go with 11 forwards I have no problem with him sitting over Bodie.

Agreed. I've been impressed with Bodie's performance this season. Right now, I see the right wingers as Kessel, Kulemin, Bodie, Clarkson.

Franson's at practice, but Holland missed because now he's sick. Kulemin slid back in the middle with Raymond and Bodie and Clarkson's back on Kadri's line.

People groan, and rightly so, about Clarkson on that Kadri line but I haven't been impressed with it as is the last few games. I'd rather shake it up with Bodie or Raymond than Clarkson but I'm glad it'll get a shake-up regardless.

Carlyle's moves are boring though.  He does the same thing over and over again.  If it didn't work the first 10 times why keep doing the same thing, try something else.

I'd actually like to see Ashton given a chance there. He's scoring like crazy at the AHL level right now, and I don't think we've ever actually seen him get an opportunity on a scoring line in the NHL before.

Well, there's lots of guys I'd prefer to Clarkson. The point was more that Kadri and Lupul haven't been good of late.

I dont get the love for Ashton, IMO he has done nothing to get a spot on the big. Yes he is good skater, IMO again he has hands of stone in the NHL. Yes I understand everyone dislike for Clarkson. He has a big contract he is going play. We have to get over it. As for playing him with Kadri and Lupul, I dont like it either. I think it should be

JVR-BOZ-KES
LUP-KAD-RAY
CLA-BOL-KUL
BOD-MCC-???

There's no 'love' for Ashton, just the desire to see him get a decent chance at the NHL level instead of 4:00-6:00 when he's called up on the 4th line.  He can score in the AHL, might as well see if he can in the NHL with decent linemates.
