That is not an inspiring bottom 6.  :-\ At least there's Bodie.

I'd probably start Reimer tonight, so my bet is Bernier.

Smithson is alright, at least he can win faceoffs.  I'd rather not have Orr in there, but at least it's not both bash brothers playing together.  Although the bottom 6 would look alot better with a healthy Bolland at #3 and McClement dropped to 4th line center.

I asked for this on the main leafs board, but I do believe when McClement centres the 3rd line we lose almost all our games, when he centres the 4th, we win almost all our games.  There is a simple reciepe here.  Why oh why did Holland get lace bite?

That's only happened in 13 out of 58 games this season.

Well McLaren has only actually played in 23 games total too.  So that means in 10 of those 23 he played without Orr.

Orr was injured for those 13 games.

Orr has played when he's healthy and McLaren has been scratched in 42.5% of games he's been available for.

I expect one victory in the remaining two games. Just one. I guess we'll find out tonight which one that is.

Well if it has to be one I'd prefer those stinking Canucks but it should be TB....

To no ones surprise, Bernier getting the start...

Jonathan bernier isn't on the ice this morning. He'll start against ben bishop. #tmltalk

I played it coy to open the thread, but I really thought Reimer would get one of the two remaining starts, with this one being the more logical choice.

We are facing "Olympian" Marty St. Louis!  Congrats Marty!

There is a perception that Martin St. Louis has been on fire since the Original Olympic Announcement.  I read a tweet last night that showed that Kadri has outscored him in that time frame.  Not sure about its accuracy or if Kadri has more GP and all, but still found it interesting.  Not sure if Kadri is getting enough accolades for "showing up" over the last 3/4 weeks.

[and no...i'm not advocating that Kadri should have been named to the Olympic team].

He went on a 10-game point streak after the team was announced where he scored 14 points. He only has 2 points in his last 4 games so that's where Kadri probably passed him.

I hope this quote is not a comparison between the two players, because Kadri is not a quarter of the player that Marti is. Congrats to him for being named to the Olympics, I hope he has an off night tonight. GLG

We're talking about who had more points in a 14 game stretch. So I'll let you answer your own question.
