I hope this quote is not a comparison between the two players, because Kadri is not a quarter of the player that Marti is. Congrats to him for being named to the Olympics, I hope he has an off night tonight. GLG

We're talking about who had more points in a 14 game stretch. So I'll let you answer your own question.

Personally I feel Kadri has already had a better career than St. Louis.  Over the last two years I also feel that he is better than Gretzky.

Maybe for no good reason, I see tonight's game as a bellwether game.  Whatever I see from the team tonight, for good or bad, is going to foretell how the rest of the season is going to play out.

We are facing "Olympian" Marty St. Louis!  Congrats Marty!

There is a perception that Martin St. Louis has been on fire since the Original Olympic Announcement.  I read a tweet last night that showed that Kadri has outscored him in that time frame.  Not sure about its accuracy or if Kadri has more GP and all, but still found it interesting.  Not sure if Kadri is getting enough accolades for "showing up" over the last 3/4 weeks.

[and no...i'm not advocating that Kadri should have been named to the Olympic team].

He went on a 10-game point streak after the team was announced where he scored 14 points. He only has 2 points in his last 4 games so that's where Kadri probably passed him.

I hope this quote is not a comparison between the two players, because Kadri is not a quarter of the player that Marti is. Congrats to him for being named to the Olympics, I hope he has an off night tonight. GLG

Umm...no where did i say that Kadri is better than MSL.  My point was I don't know if Kadri is getting enough accolades over his teams results over the past 3/4 weeks given his production (which is more than the "hot" Marty St.Louis).

Also...i'd say Kadri is at least half a Marty, don't you think?  ;)

markhmasters: Leafs lines in warm-up: JVR-Bozak-Kessel; Lupul-Kadri-Kulemin; Raymond-McClement-Clarkson; McLaren-Smithson-Orr

markhmasters: Leafs D pairings in warm-up: Gunnarsson-Phaneuf; Rielly-Gleason; Gardiner-Franson

Useful 4th line. ::)

Looks like it'll actually be 0:00:

Read that wrong, McLaren and Bodie are the two forwards in, not out. Ok...

James Mirtle ‏@mirtle  2m
Carlyle pulls switch on lineup. Dresses seven defencemen so Ranger is in. Smithson, Orr out.
