Leafs @ Panthers - Apr. 5th, 7:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

This team is rubbish in overtime. How it got to overtime is still a concern. They just don't know how to come together as a team, defend, and close out games.

They're 33-1-3 when leading after 2 periods.

Other than in all those games they did so just fine, of course.

Don't state facts...the Leafs suck despite what their 4th overall winning percentage says.

Can we talk about how Tavares was blatantly hooked on his chance to win the game in OT right in front of the ref?  No?  Ok.

Also don't care about reg season OT. It's a gimmick.

I love you hot take ?fans? coming out of the woodwork after an OT loss to the top team in the conference after the team just won 5 in a row, quite handily, including TB, Boston and this very same Florida team.

You can take your trolling comments and shove them in a sack.

He brought it up in the post game. Seems like the refs have cost the Leafs directly in at least two OTs so far by not calling the rulebook.

the Holl-Muzzin had a terrible game. Holl-Muzzin from the begining of the season were also bad.

Rielly-Brodie were also not that good last night

Holl-Brodie was a good pair.
Rielly-Lybushkin was a goof pair

Liljgren-Giordano is a solid combo.

Where Muzzin fits in ?

Traded in the summer to help relieve cap issues? ;)

Might have to wait until the summer after due to his NTC shifting to a limited-NTC (10 team) in the final season.

Nah. Players are usually pretty open to waiving NTCs in the summer. It's a obstacle, but not necessarily an impediment.

There very well may be some questions worth asking about the current Leafs set-up but I don't think one rough game (or more accurately one half of a rough game) is enough to start asking them. Give this group more time, there's a ton of potential there.

I suspect one more concussion and Muzzin will be on permanent LTIR. Saw or heard it mentioned last night he was thinking about life after hockey after his latest concussion.

Have to agree. Holl has played very well up until last night. I think Muzz was ok and would like to see him with Brodie and Bushkin back with Rielly. Don't blame Keefe for trying it out though because even though they were bad together again, they're familiar with each other. We'll see what he does tomorrow night but I suspect Lyubushkin is back in and Holl out.

He did score a nice goal last night.  This wasn't an ideal game to stick him into after being out awhile.  Let's see what the next few brings.

I don't think he should have been PK1 with Holl after being off so long.

Yeah didn't make a whole ton of sense to throw a rusty Muzzin in with a tired Leafs team.  Hold him back for a more "normal" game.  Whatever.
