Game Notes

TOR
?Andersen (26-13-6, 2.98 GAA, .906 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Leafs forward lines might be a little different in game. That is what they started Tampa's game with but some guys were moved around. Not sure if those changes will be sticking
?Rosen arrived to Florida with the Leafs yesterday but did not practice in the top-6. Keefe wouldn't confirm his availability so those pairings aren't set in stone either

FLA
?Bobrovsky (23-18-5, 3.24 GAA, .900 Sv%) will likely start for the Panthers
?Florida is of course directly behind the Leafs for the chase for the 3rd spot in the Atlantic. They trail the Leafs by 2 points but still have a game in hand as well as the tie breaker currently. Both teams will likely see this as a playoff game

Injuries

?Jake Muzzin - Hand - Injured Reserve
?Andreas Johnsson - Knee - Injured Reserve
?Cody Ceci - Ankle - Injured Reserve
?Morgan Rielly - Foot - Injured Reserve
?Ilya Mikheyev - Wrist - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Brian Boyle - Upper Body - Injured Reserve
?Chris Driedger - Groin - Injured Reserve
?Dryden Hunt - Lower Body - Injured Reserve

I know every game is supposed to be of equal importance but this one feels like a make-or-break moment for the season, even more than Tuesday's Tampa win. Winning this would go a long way toward getting us into the post season so I'm going to be expecting a work-ethic/effort level that's on a par with the Pitt game a week ago.

Man, I have no idea what to expect anymore. So based on that, I say Keefe gets two points, Matthews gets four rebounds and Clifford gets  ejected on a soft technical foul.

Florida: $  Toronto: {}

I'm wishing they can, somehow, replicate the Pens game. Or at least what was said in the locker room before the game.

And this time, against Florida, they show up at game time, like playoffs depended on it.

(But I have a bad feeling about this...)

Just win baby.  Now I'm all in on going for the mug, and if Barrie wins the Conn I'll walk around wearing a donkey head until his next birthday.

Haha. Just win. Don't care how ugly it is.

He was born in July so that's only a month...not nearly long enough! You should have to wear it until the Leafs are no longer the Cup champs.  ;D

Should I watch tonight or not chance it? Fyi I missed the last game vs Florida when Andersen got hurt

They can hype the "Golden Goal" as much as they want, it's still never going to equal Henderson's for anyone who can remember it. There was so much more than an Olympic medal at stake...it's a Cold War thing.

Honestly I remember/appreciate the 2002 Olympic gold way more than the Crosby one.
