I think it's partially a product of the defensive system they're using where the wingers aren't supposed to go out to the point and instead seem to only go about half way, but then also seem to be up high enough that they can't collapse back down fast enough to switch coverage when a D has to go below the line. They end up being stuck paralyzed in between. Happens to them all.
