We were complaining about players out due to injury and look at the Pens, they have a lot more wow.

Good game to win.

We usually play well against Pittsburgh over the past few seasons, and give ourselves a chance to win, so hopefully tomorrow is good and they play like they did Saturday.

It's insane. Their top 4 defensemen are all injured right now: Martin, Letang, Scuderi and Orpik. Then Engelland will be suspended. That leaves Niskanen as the lone regular that they had going into this season.

It's like the equivalent to the Leafs losing every defenseman except... Cody Franson or something.

But they do have a ton of young prospects that are doing a good job. They've got great depth at that position.

And then Malkin + Neal are out. So this game should be as good a chance as ever to get another win.

I seem to remember the Leafs sucking in the early 90s or late 80s and the Leafs were still beating the Pens. That was when they had Mario too. I've never been scared of the Pens, not that I shouldn't be.

And last season they had Crosby, Malkin and Letang all out at the same time.

What am I missing about Phaneuf? He's going to be a healthy scratch?

Renamed him to Franson in hopes his salary demands on his new contract come down.

I assume Phaneuf as a scratch is just a typo, as Franson is in the lineup twice.

In case we don't say it often enough - and we probably don't - I love you for doing these GDTs, Carlton.  They're fantastic.

Aren't we just in the middle of the pack in terms of games lost to injury?  PIT's injury list is epic.

But if Pittsburgh was Toronto, Niskanen wouldn't get along with Carlyle because he's European and have been bought out.

I hope they play like they did not Saturday. If so what are they going to do with Clarkson on his return. GLG

But in this eventuality, things with Niskanen... not so solid; his contract... only paper.
:P

Or The Bruins losing just Chara.
