I think Holmberg will be our 3C by season's end and by signing him at 800K is good..I thought he'd come in a lil higherlouisstamos said:Peter D. said:Would be nice if we had some youngsters in the pipeline who could fill these types of roles while on their ELCs than recycling a bunch of stiffs and hoping to squeeze the most out of them.
My hope was Holmberg could potentially replace Kampf as 4C - he looked good in his cups of coffee with the Leafs, but I guess doesn't have the same defensive prowess (yet) that Kampf does.

So, you know, 7 Mehs out of 10.
It is a good deal.Arn said:I am now convinced this was a good deal for Kampf.

How about the others making 7+ million with no physical jam to their game? This is the team Dubas built and unfortunately doesn?t look like it?s going to change much.

I do agree but finding skilled guys making 7+ that consistently finish hits is more rare, that's why it is that much more important to round out rest of lineup (particularly bottom 6) with players of that nature. We will see what Treliving has up his sleeve, but right now team is still way to soft for my liking.
