Leafs @ Sabres - Nov. 13th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

His first period was good but he wasn?t good the rest of the way.  Lots of scrambling and was out of position a lot.

Still counts as two points and I really don?t think either team deserved a win so I?ll walk away from this hoping it?s just a bad result out of the 3rd game in 4 nights after two really good efforts.  A win is a win.

If Keefe benched Nylander I don?t get it.  He wasn?t great tonight but it seems like a standard a lot of other players deserved and have evaded so far this year
Too many giveaways for him and on the 4th goal he didn't cover his man. He also had 2 bad giveaways last night.

3rd game in 4 nights and they won them all?  The last on the road in a rink where they always have trouble?  I'm not going to quibble too much.

Yeah. They?re not all going to be Rembrandts. Sometimes, you get a Jackson Pollock.

After losing those games they deserved to win, it?s nice to win a stinker.

Ya that's sports but you're right on the money. As they always say when you win when you don't play well or deserve to that's a sign of a good team.

Nylander seems to be benched.
He should be...terrible tonight.

I haven't watched the whole game what I have seen he's not the only one. LK is right others are not held accountable but hey don't want to ruffle some of these superstars feathers.

Or, maybe, you shouldn't over-react like a lunatic when the guy who's been your best player all year has a bad game.

MO CHANNELLING THAT BIG CONTRACT ENERGY!
Great win considering its a third game in four nights.
For those asking about Auston, he's dropped 30 lbs of what I assume is muscle/bone mass,
going from 230 to 200. I saw a picture of him the other day and was shocked at how thin his wrists were. The effort's there as always but that drop is going mean he's weaker on the puck and on the man. We haven't really seen dominant Auston like in the past.

That's a very apt way to describe it.  And graceful.

I was going to characterize it as a full-on ratscramble.

I'm struggling with the analogy to be honest.

It couldn't be simpler.

Jackson Pollock's works of abstract expressionism are not technical masterworks akin to the old masters with a typical subject and classical brushstroke but rather rely on chaotic, if not random, applications of paint that are meant to evoke emotion and interpretation unique to the observer.

Conversely, Rembrandt wrote the theme song to Friends.

They really should apologize to Woll after this one.  I hope the kid can somehow come out of this with a win.
They didn't give him a ton of support, glad Woll won, at least 2 of the goals were D set ups.  I think Woll moves well in the net, he is very quick

Technically it was multiple Rembrandts who wrote the theme song to Friends.  A song that catchy couldn't be written by just one Rembrandt.

Actually, the part of the song that is the theme from Friends was written by zero Rembrandts. It was performed by two of them, though.

After every game we should give the team a Rembrandt score from zero to five.

That's also the premise of my wacky drawing room farce Too Many Rembrandts.
