Maybe Gunnar could rediscover some of his offence if he were paired with Fraser...

Maybe, although I doubt we'll see Gunnar on the third pairing anyway, so it could be a moot point. I do however, like what Gunnar brings regardless of whether he gets any points or not, he's valuable to our team.

Kadri runs Miller tonight, giving him a concussion.  Pleads ignorance.

I think stupidity is better for him to claim, because thats how he's playing... and to think he wanted $5M a year.... please..... what he really deserves is to have the snot beat out of him for his dirty cheap play. That may settle him down a bit.... or, maybe not...

Just win.

I second this motion.  A 12-11 1 game would be full of excitement though.  ;)

I have made a small correction as far as the excitement is concerned. Not sure if 12-11 game would make me happy. Kessel, JvR and Kadri with hattricks, Phaneuf and Rielly with 5A each  ;D This is what I call excitement. Small bonus Orr/MacLaren kill that Scott-monster.

Anyway, 3-2 win would be enough.

Peter holland looks like a scratch tonight as does morgan rielly. James reimer starts. carter ashton has been called up. #TMLtalk

Siegel says that Gardiner will come back in tonight, Rielly appears to be the one who will sit.

Yeah, that seems like something we should have expected. I mean, Rielly is the only defenceman who wasn't on the ice for any of the goals against in Pittsburgh. Clearly, he's doing something wrong.

Carlyle really didn't like that penalty I guess.

So true. Kid has a good game and has looked pretty good his last few (minus the Columbus game, though everyone was terrible) so naturally he's out.

Fraser's been awful for a few games now and can't make of receive a pass and...........well you know  ::).

Leafs broadcast schedule had the start time as 7:00pm but it looks like it's actually 7:30pm.

Sorry about that guys. I really Carly... ah forget it.

But Fraser can FIGHT and is big and strong. Y'all must've forgot.

Carlyle won't make any friends from Leafs fans who have been questioning his decisions of late. I like Reilly's game. Reilly is not the reason we have stunk up the rink. I'm hoping Siegel's info is inaccurate.

Rielly sits in favour of playing Ranger and Fraser?

My goodness.

I'm going back to my theory from last season that Carlyle is in cahoots with Burke whose trying to get back at MLSE for firing him.

It's really the only logical explanation.

I don't know how fair a yardstick that is, though, when 3 of the goals were given up short-handed and that's when Rielly is more or less stapled to the bench.

Right now we're in the last playoff spot so we need this win.

Tied for the last guaranteed spot in our division (3rd) but still 6th in the conference. Hopefully you're not foreshadowing what we'll all be saying next week...

Not a chance in hell I watch this. If the Leafs win, it'll absolutely be in spite of their idiot coach.

For reference: sitting Rielly is inexcusable. There are three other defenseman who should take a seat before him.
