With 3 powerplays that Leafs have definitely had a big opportunity to get back into this, but the PP just isn't doing anything.

They've thrown Rielly into it, presumably with Bozak out, and he just looks lost. Those drop back zone entry attempts blow.

He's been there for the last few games. I'm not sure this 1-3-1 set-up is working. Just doesn't seem to be a good match for the players in our line-up. It's typically best used to set-up a one-timer from an Ovechkin/Stamkos type but a) nobody in our line-up of course can do that and b) we're not even setting up one-timers really.

Have the Leafs scored a real one timer this year? The PP seemed to be working for the first few months, it's been fairly pathetic recently. Rielly's skill set seems dumbed down by the formula... dumb dumbed down.

Wait... Cherry criticizes the trainers for forcing Bozak to go to the quiet room, then immediately says that Wideman should have been forced out of the game because he was hit in the head.

dumb-dumb

Straight up hilarious.

"Having someone in the stands telling teams guys might have a concussion is dumb."

"Someone should have told Calgary that Wideman might have a concussion and taken him out of the game. Dumb."

And, then, of course, a rant about how awesome his Bruins were.

Typical segment from Cherry.

Maybe that dumb guy in the stands knows a little something:

DavidAmber: As per #Leafs PR Bozak will NOT return tonight

Seriously though, this Bozak situation should be the very first example anyone uses when bringing up the quiet room. To my eyes, Bozak looked completely and perfectly fine after the hit. I thought for sure that he'd be back out there 2 minutes after he left. Turns out he might actually have a brain injury.

But now how will the reaping of picks happen if he is injured?

To be fair, he might not either, we don't know what's shut him down yet.

Mike Babcock: ?I think when a player says he?s okay to play and keeps playing, he?s okay to play.?

Camera's showed Bozak saying "I'm fine, I'm fine".

Other than the media guy, has anyone ever actually complained that the quiet room initiative is a bad idea?

The odds of Bozak moving at the deadline was always on the low-end. He'll be fine by the draft, I'm sure.

Was Babcock talking about head injuries?  Cause he'd prob want to take that back if not.

Yeah, and that only matters if the Leafs get significantly better at C in the offseason.

I posted the full quote one up from yours, but yes.

keep in mind, it is Feschuk, but it does seem rather an odd perspective from Babcock.

I just wanted to be part of the conversation.

If grabner could get a couple hand transplants, he'd be a regular 30 goal guy with the chances he gets himself every night.
