This slump isn't nearly as catastrophic as it seems. Not saying the Leafs are playing their best hockey, but one or two bounces go their way instead of the other teams and we win any of those games we lost.

Yeah. The last two games seem like the only ones I'd say they deserved to lose - and, for the game on Saturday, that's mostly because of their play (and the officiating) in the 3rd period (it was a coinflip before that - Winnipeg was slightly better, but not by a large margin). Even last night, looking at the possessions numbers and such, the Leafs were the better team in the 2nd & 3rd periods, and ended the night with a slightly higher all-situations xGF than Ottawa.

The record is ugly, but the team's play over that stretch? Mostly pretty good. The break will help, but there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. A lot of the lack of success is PDO/regression related.

Yeah I think the team has been making more mistakes lately but they are definitely all that much more noticeable because the majority of those mistakes are ending up in the net.

I'm not too worried. They've had a slump and they're still 1st in the division. Obviously, it's concerning if it continues, but we've also seen how well they can play.

Complacency was bound to set in with the lead they had established.  Maybe if WPG catches them this week it will light a fire again

I don't think it's complacency at all. I think it's fatigue and it's more mental then physical. They'll have a fire when they get going again Friday....let's hope
