3 more blank games and Nazem Tavares is going to have to answer some uncomfortable questions about his play.

Kadri has had some good games against Ottawa, hopefully he can bust out tonight.

Kadri is like a snowflake out there..he is melting and directionless.  Kadri has the talent to be a force in this league but for some reason he is floating big time.
He better buck up soon or he may be heading out of town in some sort of deal.

Maybe that's what he wants?  The first period last night it seemed like nobody wanted to play and are just waiting for something to happen.  Either a coaching change, trade, etc.

If he is going to be traded it will have to be part of a larger package as he worth right now is all in potential (that he doesnt seem to be realizing). Let hope he picks it up tonight?..

on breaking news someone is in our parliment building with a gun and has shot a soldier at the War Memorial?.god what a world we live in.

Kadri's fine, their line has been solid so far but haven't had much puck luck.  They've generally been driving possession and should be rewarded for it one of these games.

Well. They gained some respect the way they handled the Islanders last night. Tonight will be a tougher match. Let's hope they bring it once again to the Sens.

Considering current events in Ottawa, potential this game could be postponed?

Definitely a possibility. I suppose that depends on how the rest of things play out.

EDIT: Some third-hand updates on this:

Hope_Smoke: Dreger on TSN radio "when I reached out to the NHL they are on top of everything right now. Monitoring every situation."

Hope_Smoke: Dreger "League will not put anyone at risk. Leafs are in lock down mode"

Hope_Smoke: Dreger "NHL knows this a very sensitive and serious situation. The world is on alert not just Ottawa and Canada"

I think the right decision would be to call it off ASAP. Nobody will be in much of a hockey mood, fans or players.

But then I can also see an argument for the whole carry on as normal so as not to give in to these guys.

when 9-11 happened I was in St.Thomas in the Virgin Islands on business.  Everyone was of course in shock except for one storekeeper, an older guy whom was going about business as usual.  I remember asking him why he was in normal mode and he said "If I shut down for one minute, I let those bastards win"  It has had a lasting impact on me.

Yes Arn there are arguments for both sides.

The Leafs are apparently staying in the Westin hotel that is attached to the Rideau Centre - so, they're practically in the middle of all this. I doubt playing the game tonight is forefront on their mind right now. Sounds like they're all safe, but, still . . .

I think reading not playing a scheduled hockey game as "giving in to these guys" is a little premature considering we have absolutely no idea who they are and why they did this.

jonasTSN1050: Neither Leafs nor Senators play tomorrow and building has no scheduled events. Might make sense to reschedule the game until then.

This seems like the likely outcome. Neither team plays on Friday either or has significant travel for their next game. Nothing official yet, though.

This is a little different. That store likely wasn't a possible target for another attack and didn't need probably a hundred police officers guarding the building while it was operating.

Makes sense.  Highly likely, I would expect.
