Leafs @ Wild - Dec. 4th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

I?d like to go back to my argument that penalties taken with less than 2 minutes left in a game should extend into extra time if the result of the game is still in doubt

Oh well.  Jack got beat by a couple of good shots.  Wouldn't have been there at all without him making 7 saves on the 5 on 3.

Crappy way to finish the game. Some weird bounces and some weird officiating. Cam Talbot beats Campbell in the shootout. Whoda thunk. Disappointing finish to a great comeback.

On to Winnipeg.

I totally take that result.  Not easy to walk into Minny once a year.  They have a great crowd and the place was ramped.

Tomorrow night could be ugly, though.

They won't do that but I see your point.

Lousy way to lose but on the road against a good team and without Marner? Take the point and move on.

Tough game against a good team on the road and then go on the road against a rested team without Marner and potentially no Spezza and your #3 or #4 goalie in net.

So the Leafs are going to win is what you're saying? Lol.

2 goals and a great assist for the ageless wonder Jason "Vintage" Spezza. Oh and he's
making $700 000 (probably $350 000 after taxes). Dubas' greatest legacy deal. The passing,
the slapshot. What I notice too is that he's not super slow, I'd say average. Greatest value
deal in hockey.

Boys were pretty horrible breaking out of their zone, especially in the 3rd. Justin Holl had a rough game. Where has Liljegren gone? Also, someone should have beat the shit out of Marcus Foligno, but the Leafs don't have that.

I like that idea!

Bab's was right about Holl, he has turned into a complete disaster.  Trade Holl and Ritchie for a sack of magic beans, or a can of tomato soup.

Holl would be fine as a 5 or 6. He's not a disaster just in the wrong spot.
Ritchie has come around the last 5 or so games. Stilll have hope for him.

Holl isn't playing great but he's not Martin Marincin. Ritchie I'm fine with cutting loose. Can use the cap space for someone else.
