For those focused on the game, the U.S. has launched 50 tomahawk missiles at Syria, Assad has some very powerful allies, we stand on the brink of a world war.

Well, this world was nice while it lasted.

Leafs on the verge of legit playoffs. Of course.

Well one period to get some points out of this. Making it hard on themselves. I have not been impressed with the effort tonight at home against a depleted TB team. Oh well have 20 minutes to salvage this game.

This team is clearly running on fumes right now.  I mean 6 games in 9 nights to finish the season? Who makes up this bs schedule anyway? It's certainly not doing us any favours.

On the somewhat positive front Columbus has lost and Pittsburgh will win which means the Leafs' games against them will be meaningless to either team and might see them rest up.

3rd tough game in 4 nights...only so much effort you are able to give when body isn't willing.

Boyle's in tonight.

I like what he has brought and is happy with 4th
line and spot duty higher. I think he'd make the 4th
line one of the better ones on the league. I'd be in favor
of signing him for 3 hopefully not 4 years at $3-$3.5.

May not be realistic in this NHL though.

He makes $2M now. I wouldn't go much higher than that.

He has 3 assists and 0 goals in 18 games with the Leafs.  I'm not sure that we should be icing a 4th line that scores 10 goals in a season.

So many drop/back passes.  Tampa isn't letting Toronto through.  Maybe try another strategy.

Tonight is one of the rare nights the Leafs have really looked like a young, inexperienced team. Unfortunately, that's two games in a row at the worst time of the season for it.

They didn't do much Tuesday and I get the hectic schedule but if you can't get up for this game with a mostly young team c'mon. Haven't liked their intensity all night. I can see being outplayed by Washington but TB isn't Washington and with the players they are missing I expected the Leafs to come out flying and taking a stranglehold on this game early but wishful thinking.

I'm thinking this too.

The Leafs use of point shots tonight.  They stand still and wait to shoot but it's allowing Tampa to clog the shooting lane even more.

Kadri was ahead of the Tampa player and they call icing. A minute later a similar play and the refs waive off the icing for Tampa despite the Leafs being ahead of the puck.
