Bernier has been pretty mediocre, but I really hope somehow they get him a win tonight.  It doesn't do anybody any good to have him keep floundering.
 
The puck going in off the broken stick would have been hilarious and completely emblematic of Bernier's time as a Leaf.

Yeah. I mean, he wasn't awful, but when you allow 5 goals . . .

That's the story of his year: he gives up at least one bad one, looks good for about 40% of the time, BUT.  Talk about a guy in a tailspin.
 
Bernier's now 0-9-1 0-8-2. Every other goalie with at least 10 games played has a minimum of 3 wins. He's also given up 4 or more goals in 5 of his last 6 games.
