Along with a lot more! Those were sad days for Leafs fans.Zee said:Guilt Trip said:The Leafs have once again handled a situation that makes you proud to be a fan. Glad they got out in front of this.
100% First class run organization now. Imagine with an owner like Ballard? He used to use those terms himself

To have this outcome and see it handled this way by the organization is (obviously) vastly more important than the result of last night's game (or any other) and makes me proud to be a Leafs fan.
Well said ZBBM, I was at quite a fancy party down in the valley on Sunday, many gay men where invited by the hostess who is a fashionista and these guys are all designers. I personally like gay people very much, usually they have a great sense humour and are fun to be around. I am proud that Dubas and Morgan handled themselves with such composure in this meeting. There is no place in this world for discrimination of any kind (the one exception is for Coach bashing).Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate said:Dubas and Rielly handled the press conference well.

You need to keep in mind that there are like 10 or so mics around the rink so sounds are picked up from different parts of the rink. In the end, it wasn't him who said the slur or anything that sounded like it. The explanation was the voice that said "Rag It" or similar was actually from a Tampa player and not Rielly at all.TML fan said:It definitely sounds to me like he said it, but nobody that matters thinks he did, so that's that.

As for the Rag It...Noodles said on Overdrive they used Rag It all the time and you can clearly here the bench or someone yelling rag, rag, rag when the Tbay player was getting to the puck in the corner. So in the end, you can think he said whatever definitively, the NHL would argue as would the referee and I think he would know seeing his was in direct line with Rielly. Let's be perfectly clear here, if he or anyone did say it, there would be serious repercussions.
