Lightning @ Leafs - Oct. 10th, 7:00pm - SNO, Fan 590

Leafs win the faceoff on the PK and muzzin just quits.  Didn?t even try.  Gave the puck away with no effort and then Tampa scores.

The effort in the D zone is embarrassing. Out worked on every loose puck.

Carolina held TB to 13 shots all game the other day. We?ve given up 14 in the first. Pathetic.

Tampa hasn?t done much better keeping Toronto off the board so... ?\_(ツ)_/?

Embarrassing defensive effort.  This coaching staff does not have the ability to prepare this team defensively.  No accountability, no effort no cohesion.  Running around with no plan.

It's a good thing Vasilevskiy has been as crappy as Andersen or this would be over.

I'm glad im not watching this game, so 4 allowed in the first, ouch.

Yes the Leafs, a notoriously porous defense, are having difficulty containing the reigning President?s Trophy winners with one of the highest scoring forward groups in the cap era.

Leafs D has been brutal and fully on display. Please Babs, play Sandin. I'd rather see him make these mistakes then the vets.

Shrug, maybe, but what a horrible, horrible defensive "performance."  The only one who played at all decently was Sandin.

Not going to go anywhere with that, eh?

It doesn?t matter the game, you will find a way to say this isn?t the leafs fault and say it?s just fine.

The leafs give up goals to everyone.  They don?t have any defensive system.  Let?s talk about that.

You could win the lottery and complain about signing the back of the ticket

It doesn?t matter what happens it?s always the Leafs fault for everything that happens, not a good team making good plays.

I think you?ll find reading through my extensive GDT posting history that, yeah I?ll lean positive most of the time, but I?ll also point out when we made a bad decision. Again, there is a such a thing as other teams having good players making good plays earning those goals.

However, lately, there?s not much point to pointing out our mistakes because that market has been cornered by a vocal minority.

Well for Pete?s sake.  Every time I come here I feel I need to say these things.  2 games ago everyone said it?s 3 in 4, so blowing a 3 goal lead in the 3rd was fine.  Then the loss to the blues was because it was 4 in 6.

And for the most part, I?m positive toward to the players.  What?s happening right now is purely coaching.  It has nothing to do with how many games or who we are playing.
