Game Notes
TB
-Andrei Vasilevskiy (20-13-2, 2.35 GAA, .916 Sv%) will likely start for the Lightning
TOR
-Joseph Woll (16-8-0, 2.68 GAA, .907 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-Domi and Holmberg swapped spots in the line-up in the game against Montreal, while Myers and Reaves both saw themselves benched for long periods. The line-up on Monday will probably reflect that but the team did not practice on Sunday to confirm

Has anyone heard any updated on Järnkrok? He's been the Forgotten Man but we sure could use him if he came back and played at his usual level.

Not really holding my breath but I guess there's at least a slim possibility Hakanpaa and Jarnkrok (and Stolarz and Tavares) are all back post-break next month.

'free' deadline additions!

I don't know about the Hakanpaa/Jarnkrok conditioning; Tavares getting a breather is good, but again, conditioning will be a question mark.

Really not crazy about splitting up McCabe and Tanev, especially against a team like Tampa who has arguably the most loaded up top line in the league. But I do get this is more of a temporary thing and brought on by Myers needing to sit after his game on Saturday.

Jonas Johansson is starting for Tampa. Career 4.82 GAA and .871 SV% in 5GP against the Leafs. 0-1-2 record with two no record relief appearances. 19 even strength goals against. 0 PP/SH.

Also FYI there won't be any Joe Bowen radio calls tonight as he's getting the day off to watch the Fighting Irish in the College Championship.

It's not a great bottom 6 but every last one of those players is making 900K or less. 5.036M for 6 players.

Girgensons - 44GP 0G 2A ; Glendening 44GP 2G 2A; Atkinson 27GP 3G 3A; Eyssimont 42GP 4G 2A; Geekie 42GP 6G 6A; Chaffee 40GP 8G 4A

239 GP 23G 19A 42P
14 points/82GP 120K/point

Even our worst version of our bottom 6: Reaves/Dewar/Pacioretty/Kampf/Holmberg/Lorentz and that's ignoring that you have at least 2 of Domi/McMann/Robertson in the bottom 6 every night.

205 GP GP15G 26A 41P

Tampa has a big bottom 6 but they aren't the intimidating force that they were 3-4 years ago. Mind you their top 6 is absurdly productive.
