10 shots after 2 periods against a team 20 points below them in the standings that is decimated by injuries.

Like you said though, full credit to the Yotes for playing great defensively. Shot attempts are actually pretty close (33-29 Yotes), but they've blocked a ton.

Still, when they get into games like this I'd like to see them try to just get as much as possible toward the net to try to get a rebound goal.

Come on man, that's like taking your Ferrari to Home Depot for some lumber.

The only time they've looked even remotely dangerous since the first 6 minutes is when they did just that right before the disallowed goal.

I was being facetious

This is definitely a first round loss team currently.  They can?t beat bad teams or the bruins.
They've won 6 of the last 8 including this game, which will have no bearing come playoff time. Give it a rest. It's a bad game.

How will it have no bearing?  I?d said having home ice is favorable in the playoffs.  Games like this will cost them home ice.

Hats off to the Coyotes for a well-deserved win.  Outplayed the Leafs for the final 54 minutes, and a stellar sticks-in-the-lane-block-all-shots effort.  Hjalmersson was fantastic.

Nylander with a 64% (16-9) CF tonight. Tops on the team, and the only forward above 50%.

Wish his goal counted so he could have at least been rewarded for his effort.

Fighting for your home ice advantage life, HNIC against an AHL with the worst home record in the NHL, and get thoroughly pummeled.  Babcock hockey...the let downs outweigh the positives.

Time to shut down the season.
