Maple Leafs @ Rangers - Dec. 15th, 7:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

Deserved to lose this one but also didn?t exactly play worse than the Rangers either.  Oh well had a great run.  Show up better on Saturday

The Leafs are going to be better when Rielly takes these offensive opportunities back from Sandin

Why do you say that he hasn't done squat all year? Offensive numbers are horrible. Never really liked him on the PP because he has no shot. Sandin has done ok in my opinion. Team is winning without him. He'll obviously will get his role back but because the Leafs really didn't have anyone else.

Rangers sucked Leafs could have easily salvaged something out of this game if any of their stars had shown up.

It's so awesome that after a 15 game point streak the negative posters return after one loss.

#1 - Rielly is better on the PP than Sandin. Saying Rielly doesn't have a shot doesn't hold water. Sandin doesn't have a bullet either. Also, goals aren't scored from the point on the PP.
#2 - No, the leafs weren't the best they've been but could have easily eeked out points in this one. They had that 2 minute shift in the 2nd where they absolutely dominated and couldn't buy a goal. The game was tied 1-1. The game never really flipped the rangers way until after that shift when Vesey scored.
#3 - 15 Games straight. What are you hoping for?

Yes. I hate calling out names, but I think we know who just seems to be a troll. Barely posts for a month during all the wins. We have a loss and he's all over the boards. There is a reason a bunch of people have him on ignore I guess.

I hope the troll you're referring to isn't me because that I am definitely not.

I agree.  You are here consistently, and while many may not agree with you, it's a discussion board where people are free to offer opinions.  It's only trolling when it's done in bad faith.

Hey I'm as frustrated as you guys are at seeing the boys get out battled and man-handled by a bunch of scrubs. Wouldn't it be nice to be the tougher team for a change?

I've been busy lately and haven't been posting much not even been able to watch a game in it's entirety. I post what I feel and when they play well I will post that and when they don't I let it be known. Yesterday was not a good effort in my opinion and worse off is they easily could have salvaged something because the Rangers were worse. A good effort is all you ask and especially from the stars but both teams stars yesterday were MIA.

I've busy and away a bunch. Last night, I watched lots of the game.

I kind of agree with Keefe's assessment: they didn't give up much. The Rags scored on some of the few chances they had.

That span of time in the 2nd where they controlled the puck for about 2 mins was dazzling.
As Keefe said, their execution offensively was off.
Rags countered some with their own possession after that ...

Can't win 'em all.

Pat Burns teams are probably the only Leafs clubs I can recall that had forwards as committed to team defense and capable of executing it. This group of forwards might even be better at it given the injuries on the D and the results. Not sure of that. Need to see it over more games and see if the goalies can keep up their end. Time will tell. Not a bad thing at this stage for a team with playoff aspirations.

I wouldn't call it trolling. I don't think these people do it to get a rise out of anyone.

Really it doesn't bug me a whole bunch. It's pretty sad that a game can instantly make a person so angry. It's a problem when people focus solely on the one negative and forget about the other 23hrs of the day. Or in this case, the past 15 games of gathering points.
