Maple Leafs @ Wild - Nov. 25th, 2:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

I?m really struggling to see what Kerfoot provides to the lineup at this point. He plays hard but does an awful lot of busy nothing

I?m sorry, I want him to succeed, I really do, but what positive attributes does Simmonds bring at this point?

Nothing at this point.  I disagree with the need to get him into the lineup.  I really think the Leafs should be using their speed to counteract size instead of dressing a slow Simmonds who provides very little at this point

Totally agree with you, LK.  I mean, even if they idea is that he?s the Leafs ?answer? to Foligno or Reeves, well, I don?t think he can realistically do that, either.  So why not have Malgin waterbugging around with skill instead?

Nothing like doing fancy drop passes to try and skate through a stationary wall along the blueline.  I don?t get it

With Rielly out for quite a bit, if Sandin doesn't really stand out on PP1 I'd love to see the Leafs try playing 5 forwards on the powerplay. Have Marner on the point. He's often the facilitator and handles zone entries anyway. Gets Matthews and Nylander on each flank for him to dish to, with Tavares and maybe Bunting in the middle.

My best guess with Matthews is his wrist. I haven?t seen him use the snapshot or wristshot very often this year?he always seems to slap it.
