Too bad. I really liked him and thought he could develop into Holmstrom type of guy.
I guess, the quite unexpected scratch by Eakins during Marlies play-off run may be a factor in his decision to come back to Europe.

If so, yeah. Keith Aucoin in an AHL superstar - though, he's much smaller than Mueller.

This was a really strange one, up until about two weeks before the AHL playoffs he was being touted as a Leaf next season along with Holzer and then all of a sudden he got the shaft in the playoffs, which was apparently not down to injury.

More to it than meets the eye I would think...
