MaxPac had an impressive season, no doubt, but, in hindsight, his injuries weren't as severe as they sound. Lupul's injury/setbacks had him much closer to having his career over.

Wasn't it reported that Pac would have been able to rejoin the Habs if they made it further into the playoffs? I really don't see how missing a couple of months with a pretty bad injury trumps Lupul who could have easily been finished as a NHL player.

Wasn't it reported that Pac would have been able to rejoin the Habs if they made it further into the playoffs? I really don't see how missing a couple of months with a pretty bad injury trumps Lupul who could have easily been finished as a NHL player.

Just an opinion - not trying to depreciate what Lupul had to overcome.

On top of that, if Lupul doesn't hurt his shoulder late in the season, he probably cracks the 30 goal plateau as well. He basically had as good a season as Pacioretty, but came back from a more serious, (though, obviously, not as publicized) situation.

Yeah. I feel like if MP wins it'll be partly because of the insane media frenzy Montreal kicked up. CHARA IS A CRIMINAL.
