And Sweden's going for gold. Pretty impressive considering their missing Sedin, Zetterberg, and Franzen. Canada might have a problem with Sweden if they go for gold. They played the suffocating style that gave Canada problems against the lesser teams but they also have a ton of skill as well.

I'm on pins and needles for this US-Canada game this afternoon. I'm still predicting a US win, but after watching the women come back from the jaws of defeat yesterday to take home the gold, anything is possible.

Canada has some serious momentum going at the Olympics right now - five gold medals in the past three days. This country is on a serious high going into this game - I hope the celebration can continue this afternoon!

It was initially reported as an illness, but apparently it's actually his hand. Early report is he's out for a month.

I'm not sure there's really much of a drop-off from Martin to Carlson. But yeah whatever pairing has Orpik on it should get torched. Still can't believe they took him over Yandle/Byfuglien.
