Anyway, Mogs is building from scratch. He's from the Russian Far East, IIRC. For all his sour reminiscences of his childhood, it looks like he's ready to make KHL pro hockey happen back there.
Actually, the story is mostly about the KHL's resurgence. The bit about Jokerit joining is handwriting on the wall for the other Euro leagues. I can see the K poaching top teams from all over the continent.
