Yeah, neither did I. When I was a regular smoker I paid 40 for a half-quarter, 70 for a quarter, 120 for a half-ounce and 220 for an ounce. Obviously on the upper end there the price is significantly below 10 a gram but drug dealers had incentive to offer discounts for larger purchases. The OCS, like the LCBO, actually have a mandate not to encourage use so they won't offer real discounts for buying in bulk.
Meanwhile at OCS you can get fairly high THC strains for as low as 28 bucks for the half-quarter. If anyone was paying much less than that pre-legalization I'd really question the quality of what they were buying.

Day 9: After noticing an oddity on my credit card statement(last night my OCS charge had disappeared, then this morning it was there again only now registered as having taken place on the 23rd) I tried to call their customer support line only to get a pre-recorded message telling me that due to "circumstances beyond their control" they aren't able to receive calls.

Huh, I've been getting good stuff (OG Kush, Sour Diesel, etc...) for $6-$6.50/g for years...
I did put in an order at OCS, last Thursday, for shits and giggles.....
Still no shipped email (it said 1 - 5 days).
I emailed the 'HelloOCS' email, no replies.
I called the Customer Service line and it tells you to hang up, they can't take any more calls right now...
What a fiasco.
But I knew they would mess this up anyways.

If you or I buy a bottle of Johnny Walker Black we can be fairly sure that we're getting more or less the same thing. Pot isn't, and has never been, like that. Look at the OCS page for instance, they give the THC and CBD contents in wide ranges in a way they'd never do for alcohol content. That's because plants aren't really an exact science.
When you or I would buy pot from an illicit source we wouldn't know THC contents. Even assuming that the names of those strains are legitimate, and I've had pretty large-scale dealers tell me that "famous" strains were essentially just easily forged brand-names, I don't know what sort of conditions your stuff was grown in or the ultimate quality thereof.
